Petite
Size: 15" x 21" (approximate)Background: The French petit is printed on paper. The petit usually has one center-fold line and may or may not have the same art work as the U.S. one-sheet for the same movie.
Medium
Size: 24" x 32"Background: The French medium is printed on paper and is not as common as the "petite" or the "large" French and is not used much any longer. It is common for these poster to have both horizontal and vertical fold lines.
Large (Grande)
Size: 47" x 63" (approximate)Background: The French large is printed on paper and is always folded. This is the most common poster used in French movie theaters.
Train Station and Kiosk
Size: 47" x 69" (approximate)Background: This "new breed" is slowyly making its way into common usage. These posters are typically seen in elaborate display cases along the main boulevards of Paris and other French cities. In some case they are double-sided and come rolled.
